Wolf Squad

Sighing, I picked up my bag and rifle, and then walked outside, squinting in the hot desert sun. Helicopters circled above, dust swirling out from them. I coughed, due to my parched throat, and then walked towards the Blackhawk. Yelling over the blades’ sound, I said,” I heard we’re going into some tough shit!” The sergeant turned towards me and said,” Actually, it’s lucky you came now, because our CIA friend here just told me you’re being moved.” I gave him a perplexed look. “Moved where, exactly?” He turned back in the heli and started talking to the person next to him, though I couldn’t hear anything over the helicopter’s blades. “Just get in and he’ll explain!” he yelled.
The CIA guy was big and muscular. He had on civilian clothes and a headband. “You’re Corporal David Miles, correct?” “Yes sir.” I replied, still confused. He glanced down at his papers and looked back up at me, “You’re being moved to a special ops team. I can’t tell you anything more.” I started to speak, but he held up a hand and cut me off,” You have run a very successful tour, and we’d like to recruit you. You will be placed along five other members. The leader is Ms. Alice Freeman, Wolf one. She usually just gives briefings and gives orders from her air-conditioned office, while the rest of the team is fighting it out. I chuckled and kept listening. “With the recent invasion, we need more teams out of Russian controlled countries and more in the heart of it all.” My heart skipped a beat.” You’re saying we go straight into Russia?! That’s insane!” He smirked and said, “Not for us, it isn’t. Here, let me take you to meet the rest of the team.
So I boarded the helicopter to an airport, and then by plane we went to America. Well, the parts that aren’t turned into a warzone. We had almost gotten shot down over New York, and no one ever dares to go to D.C, so we went by Humvee.  Then we went to the current Base of Operations of the U.S.
The room smelled of cigar smoke as I stepped through doors that lead into a hallway. A woman, who I assumed to be Alice, walked through the next door and shook my hand. She led me into a briefing room. In the room were four people. “This,” she said, pointing to an African-American man smoking a large cigar, “Is John, but you’ll call him Wolf two.” I nodded a hello and he nodded back, “Michael, orWolfthree.” She pointed at a man with spiked up hair. He sported a goatee and night vision goggles, “This is Ryan,” a man with a huge beard and an Irish accent to match. And the next person was Ashley, a blonde girl sharpening a large hunting knife. We chatted a while, and I became good friends with Ryan. Ashley didn’t want to talk much, and I decided I’d better be careful around her.
“Alright, briefing time, get to your stations,” A voice over the intercom boomed. I found a seat emblazoned with our logo, A shadow of a wolf, mouth wide open and barking with two rifles crossing it’s body, and a black six under it. I sat and listened to Alice speak and point to diagrams on the giant television screen. “This is Moscow, and as you know American forces haven’t been able to punch through yet. We’re going to change that. You will open a gaping hole in their defenses. By blowing up this fuel station,” she said, pointing to a large red dot on the map, “You may be able to distract the enemies’ forces if you make them think you’re a larger force than you actually are, and this is what you are going to use to do it,” A large multibarrel artillery gun popped onto the screen,” This is the Mark 32 Cerberus artillery gun. It fires ten rockets with incredible accuracy onto any position within ten miles. Problem is, the enemy has it.”  Ryan looked confused, “We’re making a double trip?” She replied, “Exactly. You have to steal the launcher from a military base on the outskirts of Russia, the take a chopper close to the fuel station and destroy it. Stealth is key here, we cannot make any mistakes, or the enemy will get suspicious,” Suddenly a red light came on and a buzzing alarm was heard, “Alright, time to gear up, and let’s go.” I put on a black diving suit and painted my face black with brown mixed in. Then we went to the armory. I had never seen so many guns in the same place before. There were weapons of all kinds, from knifes to guns to rocket launchers. I chose a MP5SD and a Glock 17 converted to fire fully automatic. I stuck a silencer on it and then moved over to the grenade crate. I picked two flash grenades, an incendiary and a frag. The last things I picked up were a crossbow, a sheath full of bolts, and a large kukri knife. Then we got into an Apache Helicopter and then we were off. Russia looked beautiful at night,
